It’s that time of year again.. again!

I’ve gone through all the comics I made this year and have chosen 5 of my favourite ones. I wonder if my choices sync up with yours.

Now it’s time to again wander down memory lane (MEME ORY LANE) and look through the HALL OF MEMES. I’ve been collecting all the memes you’ve made (from our Twitch chat and Discord server), and I’ve widdled them down to my favourites. I’ve included some fan art too.

I’m taking a break from comics/streaming but I’ll be back next week. In the meantime I’m working on a complete overhaul of the store, fixing and updating my streaming overlay, as well as some other things that need refreshing and touching up, so that we can start 2020 with fresh new eyes.

I’ve uploaded bonus panels to the 10 latest comics so far (more coming soon), and you can see them by clicking the “BONUS PANEL!” button beneath the comic. This will take you to a Patreon post which you can access for $2 per month.

You can also see them if you subscribe to me on Twitch, and then access the new secret #bonus_panels Discord channel!

I’m really happy with how these bonus panels are looking, a couple of them are almost like brand new comics. The goal is to eventually give all comics in the archive a bonus panel, as well as all incoming comics. Dats a lot of panels.

Aren’t bonus panels usually free? What a sell out

Bonus panels have always been a way of monetizing a webcomic, except that they used to be a way for getting people to come back to the site (after seeing it posted somewhere else) and rack up another ad view.

However, the Internet has changed since then and the money you get from ads is a fraction of what you used to get. Which is fine by me, because I don’t like ads anyway and is something I’m trying to move away from.

Thanks to all of you subbing and gifting subs (especially from Rarin! ) we’ve unlocked new emote slots on the Twitch channel!

These are our two new emotes, as well as introducing loadLurk as part of the Tier 1 emotes, and loadJ as the permanent new Tier 2 emote.

Also don’t forget you can use all these emotes in your comments using Discord’s syntax of :loadWhatevertexthere: more info here.

Extra Stuff

I went through all the relevant comics and added new EXTRA STUFF links beneath them that links directly to their respective Patreon rewards! Now if you read a comic and would like to see the sketches & doodles pack or download HD versions, you can just click the link below the comic! No need to search for it on my Patreon page anymore!

Secondly, the TWITCH link in the navigation above will now turn “LIVE!” whenever I’m currently streaming! Special thanks to SuperTux88 for helping me with that one.

Emotes!

Thirdly, you may have noticed by now if you’ve read this far that I’ve also added the Loading Artist Twitch emotes! Everyone can use Loading Artist emotes in the comments too.

I’m using the same syntax as on our Discord server, so to use them type the emote word inbetween two colons like this: :helloTest:
