Timeless Technology
I don’t care what anyone says (INCLUDING ME) – I love my smartwatch! Even if I use it to just change the song 99% of the time, and 1% to look rude in social settings.

Spider in the bushes (3rd panel)
does everything but tell time ;-;
Dang it, I cannot find that spider for the life of me.
Its in the bush on the third panel. 😉
my life in nutshell
I own an Apple Watch and I fell the same way as I do for the guy in this comic, but luckily I own a motion power charger to prevent running out of battery, but without that, my battery lasts a day and a half. You should try this watch though. I understand if you don’t or are happy with what you have.
Hey, I feel in love with this girl.

I cant help it but i liked the style of your drawing in your earlies comics. These large eyes and sily expressions just dont work for me.
Great graphics Gregor!
Hey you could try out ‘YouNow’ for your live streams. 🙂
Joking aside, if you’re not getting at least 15 hours of battery life, something is terribly wrong. My Huawei Watch has been on my wrist for the past 16 hours and has 37% battery left, so there’s really no battery anxiety as long as you recharge overnight.
Also, you forgot what is probably the most useful feature of a smartwatch: check the outdoor air temperature. I really don’t know if I could go back to a watch without the weather on it, honestly.
Nice! What smartwatch do you have, Gregor? 🙂
Pebble Time Steel!
Lol 20 years ago that would have just been gibberish… WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!
I was just going to comment “well, you should get a Pebble, they last for days.” 😛
I’m sort of in the same boat as the “my phone already does everything a watch would do anyway” crowd. It’s cool and all, but meh… Besides which, I’m really just holding out for when can have tiny computers directly implanted in our heads, or like robot arms and such.
Anyways, the comic is super cool – love the expressions and details as always.
I like it new ones are GREAT
And that is why although I own a smartwatch I don’t connect it to a phone other than when installing apps or syncing time. Even under this condition I can only squeeze 3~4 days out of it.
To me smartwatches are just your regular watch with swap-able watchfaces. Why connect them when I have my phone around for notifications?
Also… No spider this time? O_O
It’s there xD
Really well hidden this time
Wait, is there a spider in each comic? I never knew!
Yep! (We’ll be here when you get back from the archive 😉 )
Hint: Panel 3.
I love blues face in the first panel! It’s my face when I see there’s a new comic 🙂
Love the irony in the comic and the title!
I have a Moto 360 (1st gen) myself. And I love it.
The battery lasts all day, but it indeed sucks when it stops. But that’s always my fault, because I forget to charge it haha.
Anyhow, great comic nonetheless. Loved the eyes in panel 2!!
I loled 😀
Even if I would have a smart watch, I feel like it would take me a month just to work out how to use it.
haha – I just bought one and I feel like a complete idiot 😉
