Hardware and Tear
After seven years Loading Artist is now running on a pretty slick new PC after putting it together last week together with help from the Twitch chat! (Thank you!!).
I didn’t realize how long ago most of my parts were from, so really it’s pretty amazing it held up so well for so long streaming / recording / drawing / editing / gaming. Rest in peace.

Must have been a good graphics card, at least a gtx 1080(Released a year before the comic was made, still one of the best graphics cards out there
Oh god, it’s like Hans Christian Andersen for the modern age!
I like this comic! However the nerd in me asks me if the computers have their mainboards on the other side in New Zealand, since he opened the case on the right side (viewed from front) to remove what remotely looks like a GPU?

still love these comics anyway Gregor!
You didn’t even reuse the hard drive? You monster.
(as in as a secondary drive) And hey, that would clear up the whole “I remember when I was his main computer” issue.
That was a GPU (graphic processing unit, AKA storage ._.) removing that wouldn’t kill let computes
This is a relly good joke, but as a nerd it irritates me, that somebody would buy and build a computer without thinking about reusing old parts from the current computer. How could you just rip out some card and put it in your new one?
For the sake of the joke I have o accept it.
RIP
This actually satisfies me because I’m reminded of the time I switched from a useless sluggish glitchy 2011 Windows 7 laptop that would spaz out no matter what little thing I do to it to a 2015 MacBook Air and I can’t tell you how better I have felt more than ever owning a laptop. I beat the living hell out of the old one until it was nothing but ashes. That is how pissed I was at it.
The spider is in CD ROM
Aww… the poor computer… :C
I love yur comics ! And your see points !
It actually made me a little sad for the old PC…
Bet he doesn’t reply to comments anymore *Wink* *Wink*
You’re right. He doesn’t
I’m guessing you didn’t like saying “computes” and the silver PC then. Huh.
You Monster D’:
So of course, the computer doesn’t die when it’s unplugged. No, it only dies when you take out its GPU. LOGIC.
Honestly though, I like the comic. Great work as always!
maybe it’s death by heartbreak
