So, now you know the big news. Follow me on this 2.0 journey over the next few comics to the big reveal! I AM SO PUMPED

Side note: The current website was loading really slowly for a while. I fixed it so it should be okay-ish now, but rest-assured speed will be a priority for the new site.

Don’t let anyone tell you when to make a comic. Inspiration comes when it comes however it comes.

Some people have a process to make it happen. Some can only fuck around until it hits them randomly.

Either way you make it, thanks for making art of all types everyone!

    1. Gibblicker says:

:loadLove: yeah, all these haters below. I find Laoding artist more amusing than odd1sout because hes so unpredictable.

  2. Raleigh says:

I wanna make that face in panel 2. Still like your creativity with comics.

  3. Jeff says:

I love his thinking face in panel 2.

  4. Marscaleb says:

Is he really so baked that he doesn’t realize that he’s watching a static screen?

    1. asmcint says:

If you look deeply enough into the static, you can see the face of God himself.

      1. TripleAJ says:

Remember, next time you see a static screen, tis only god, saying hello.

    2. Coach says:

Sober people can want to watch static. With the power of imagination you can make way higher quality entertainment then the crap that is on TV.

You have no idea how ironic the “more comics?” bit is. Randall Munroe of xkcd has basically made his webcomic into a job and since then it only grew in scope and quality. In my opinion Loading Artist is more than good enough to be made into a full time job but hey, that’s just my opinion. That said I couldn’t really care about the website remake, all I care about are CONSISTENT comics. As is I just visit this site once a month as I have little hope of new content (to clarify, I’m not complaining than new comics don’t come out often enough, I’m complaining that there is no schedule or consistency).

  7. Trilly says:

After I accidentally deleted all of the bookmarks on my tablet, this was one of the first ones I re-saved, along with sites like Reddit and Google. Keep up the excellent work! ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. Nathan says:

Hey Gregor, if you go to a app called “Ifunny” a lot of your work is there and a lot of people love them, your comics have been featured many times and I really enjoy them, keep it up!

    1. joseph says:

IFunny is actually how I got interested in this comic.

  9. The Brofessor says:

I love that tiny face ๐Ÿ˜€

Also his friend is watching TV static.

  10. Otter says:

I just noticed he wrote that graph on the wall…
    Nice touch.

  11. :) says:

xD the face in the second panel

  12. Dragon says:

I vote quality over quantity. Your comics are laugh out loud funny and sometimes even alittle thought-provoking. Give us what you can, when you can.

  13. Omega Lairon says:

Ooh, how fun… I look forward to seeing how this all plays out.

Just to throw my 2 cents into the ring, I don’t really mind how often the new comics pop up – this is a hobby, not a job, and there should be no outside pressure to treat it as such. I do feel a little wary when there are long gaps between updates though, but only because I’ve seen too many times in the past where websites I love have just run out of steam and given up. I really don’t want to see that happen here – I believe in this comic, and I want to see it grow and evolve into something great. Maybe not “a god of the internet” great, but definitely up there with all the “hey, I remember that site, it was awesome” places. All in due time, of course, there’s still a lot of road ahead – so much potential to grow into.

    add female character ahahah ๐Ÿ™‚

  16. Anon says:

I’m with qlum on this one. Use the RSS feed and you’ll be warned as soon as there is a new comic, and you won’t need to check the website every day.

I do prefer quality over quantity (I recently removed Explosm from my comics-to-read list, they are posting every day but quality isn’t there anymore), so keep it up like that. ๐Ÿ™‚

  17. Adam says:

If I can see the entire comic as the thumbnail in my FB feed, I usually don’t click through. If I can’t, I do. Something to think about.

  18. qlum says:

Using rss feeds I will see it when something new is posted So I will visit exactly as often as there are new comics.

  19. Rob L says:

I LOVE your comics! Please, publish them more frequently.

  20. Cam says:

Agree with Matt, I have a staple of websites I visit every time I get on a computer, this used to be one until I realized you post a new comic every month at the most. If it isn’t routine to check the website you’re going to lose most of you’re visitors. Even worse comics like explosm can do it. They used to be amazing but quality has gone down because they do something everyday, but every now and then it’s hilarious and most importantly I know there will be something new. I don’t even bother checking your site anymore, I’m just here now because I’ve been waiting an hour for a doctors appointment.

    1. Peta says:

If you and only 10% of the 40,000+ readers who “like” the comic would spend just ONE $ on each comic you’d have a point. As a freeloader, you don’t.

      1. BakedCookie says:

What the hell is your point? Without enough traffic websites get shunned and forgotten, and lack of content or consistency will turn away quite a few potential donors.

        1. Wolf says:

Yeah, i spreaded this website myself quite a bit some time ago. That might (hopefully) have helped to find a few donors even though i’m not one myself. But right now, iยดm kind of losing some of my interest myself, because new comics are just too rare. Actually, i will still always come back now and then to check out the new stuff (since i really enjoy the work), but i’m pretty sure that especially the potential new donors will have a hard time to decide to give their money for a comic that updates about once a month at max. If it’s really about the money, the work not only has to be of good quality, but of sufficient quantity too. While the quality is fine imho, right now it lacks of the latter.

  21. Derp says:

I love how your comics always have this overconfidence.

You also seem to love quality over quantity, but even though your comics are great, you really need to update regularly.
Even if you don’t think it’s the best it can be, updating regularly will increase your popularity, and may help your imagination for better comics!

  22. matt says:

Hey man. I like your comics but you’re losing visits because you make a comic ~1 a month. You need a partner or need to give us more than one a month. I dont know if youre hoping to make this your full time gig or not but your fan base doesn’t grow by ‘changing your image’ honestly your design is fine now it comes from throwing us a comic more often.

Please take my criticism as that of a concerned fan and not someone against you.

  23. well done says:

    Love every single updates =)

  24. Mike says:

I want the Flattr button back ๐Ÿ™

  25. cool dude says:

Your comic is getting less and less funny lately… You can do better..

  26. Christoph says:

Well, I stopped visiting as often as I now get ~1000000 patreon mails whenever you post a comic ๐Ÿ˜€

  27. Julius says:

I love the facial expressions of your comics ๐Ÿ˜€ !!

  28. veronica says:

    Cant wait! love your comics:))

  29. Marten says:

    How exciting!
